Ibero-American consultation with children and young people 2026

This report brings together the views of 59 children and young people aged 11–17 from 12 Ibero-American countries, gathered through five workshops organised by 5Rights Foundation, CIDENI, EU Peace at Universidad Pontificia Comillas and Fundación VOCES.

Participants shared their experiences of digital products and services, including AI, online safety, privacy and participation. They highlighted how features such as infinite scrolling and algorithmic recommendations can prioritise engagement over children’s safety and wellbeing.
