Building a digital environment designed with children in mind: An international best practices blueprint

In 2021, the world made children a promise with the adoption of General comment No. 25 to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, affirming that the rights enshrined in the most widely ratified human rights treaty in history apply fully in the digital environment.

Today, fulfilling that promise is more critical than ever. This report sets out a practical international blueprint to help policymakers address harmful design and business models, strengthen accountability, and ensure technology is safe and age-appropriate by design and default.
