UK Policy and Public Affairs Officer

We are seeking to recruit an ambitious and driven Public Affairs Officer to support the delivery of our advocacy strategy in the UK. Reporting to the Head of UK Affairs, you will play a vital role in analysing policy and political developments, crafting engaging briefings and reports, and nurturing relationships with essential stakeholders in civil society and politics.​

EU Advocacy Officer

5Rights engages with regulators in the European Union and in Member States, as well as with the Council of Europe, providing expert practical support for the development of policies, laws, standards and tools for the implementation and enforcement of children’s rights in the digital environment.​

Over recent years, 5Rights has engaged intensively with the EU institutions, notably around the DSA, AI Act, GDPR and consumer law to put children’s rights high on the agenda and set out core principles in legislation. ​

We are now seeking to recruit a new member for our EU advocacy team, to help practically deliver on the opportunities for profound changes that these advocacy efforts have opened. Our current work priorities include the implementation of the DSA, the AI Act,​the review of EU consumer law and AVMSD, as well as ongoing debates regarding children’s access to the digital environment.
