At 5Rights Foundation, we do our best to keep your information safe and secure.
This page explains what information on you we may have and what we might do with it. It also explains what you can ask us to do.
On this page we refer to Data Protection Legislation. These are the laws that tell us what we must do with your information.
If you have any questions about this document or your data, you can contact us at info@5rightsfoundation.com
The information we collect and when
We only collect information that we are sure we need, and when the law says we can. This might include your name, where you live, your phone number, your email address or your age.
We will always tell you when we are collecting any information on you.
For more information
The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is in charge of data protection and privacy matters in the UK. You can find our more information on their website: https://ico.org.uk/for-the-public.
How long we keep your information for
We don’t want to keep your data for longer than we need it. We will normally keep it for 3 years after the last time we spoke to you, unless the law says we should keep it longer than that.
Sharing your thoughts
On the website, there are buttons to let you share information on social media. Remember that if you do this, your personal information might be shared there too.
Security
We want to keep your data safe, and we have security to protect it both online and in our office.
