Young Scot 2018 Year of Young People Summit

Young Scot 5Rights Youth Leadership Group organised a Summit to debate and celebrate the rights of young people in the digital world.

The Summit was based in Edinburgh, and speakers included Scotland’s Minister for Public Finance and Digital Economy, Kate Forbes MSP, representatives of the British-Irish Council and Baroness Beeban Kidron, Chair of 5Rights. The youth participants led digital workshops and interactive seminars with representatives from government, police, Scottish NHS and civil society groups.
