On the 31st of January 2024, tech CEOs from Meta, TikTok, X, Snap, and Discord testified at the Senate as part of the US Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing on Online Child Sexual Exploitation. Luxmy Gopal from BBC News interviewed our Chair and Founder, Baroness Beeban Kidron to hear her reaction in which, she highlighted the “extraordinary” nature of senators reaching a consensus that “the tech sector [have] abjectly failed to look after Children”.
